He married at Kingston, Ulster county, New York, 6 February, 1808 Charlotte Welles retrieved 2020 daughter of James Wells and Charlotte Lydia Taylor of Kingston, New York. [Baptismal and Marriage Registers of the Old Dutch Church, Kingston]. She died in Gloversville, Fulton county, New York, 1824 [Wells family is originally from Colchester, Connecticut.
