Henry E. Foote

Dr Henry E. Foote was born at Ohio, 1825 to John Parsons Foote and Jane Warner. He died at Cincinnati, Hamilton county, Ohio, 12 July 1871 (aged 45–46), buried Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, Section 77, Lot 90 ID 18140864

Union Civil War Officer and Surgeon. He was born in Ohio, and lived in Cincinnati. He served the US Volunteer Army as a Surgeon first with the 13th Missouri Infantry and then with the 22nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry with the rank of Major. He was promoted during the war to the position as Medical Director of the 2nd Division in the VII Corps. He was mustered out of service late in 1864 and returned to Cincinnati practicing medicine as a doctor. He died from chronic diarrhea at a hospital near his residence when he was 46 years old.
